  It was several months after i moved to Brightmoor that i first visited this modest chapel. They made me feel welcome. Although i felt i differed from some of the beliefs there, i genuinely worshipped with this congregation.
  There was activity in the church as i passed by around 7:30 last evening, so i tried opening the front entrance door. It opened easily. There were children and adults in the narthex and sanctuary. They were rehearsing their Christmas pageant, and they seemed to be welcoming me, so i removed my hat and gloves and put them on a shelf in the narthex.
  As i put them there a handsome young man, perhaps 30 years of age, came to me and spoke with me. He told me that the worship service would begin at 10 of-the-clock Sunday morning.
  My regular place of worship probably will not change, but i expect to be at Grace Refuge Chapel this coming Sunday. It will be my second visit to this welcoming church. The people hear and proclaim the Word; they love God and one another.
