  I kind of grew up w/ this church. My grandparents were one of the founding families who I believe, pooled their resources and made the church happen.
  Unlike (Americanized) Roman Catholic services, the Byzantine Rite has retained much of the ceremony, pomp and tradition that you will still find in orthodox churches.
  It's sad to see St. John's parish dwindle and I hope that somehow there will be a revival in it's future!
